Cheltenham Township will commemorate its 24th Annual Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 27 in Ralph Morgan Park on South and Paxson Avenues in Wyncote. From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., children from Wyncote Elementary and All Hallows Episcopal Nursery Schools will take part in the event, which will feature the planting of a Swamp White Oak, White Oak and Willow Oak Trees in the park. In addition, the Township will receive a 14th consecutive Tree City USA Award and a 13th consecutive Growth Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation for its continued progress in community forestry activities.
